Ariel Fishman serves as an MBA Merit Scholar at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington D.C. At Georgetown, Fishman serves as a member of the Graduate Investment Fund, the Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Group, & the Real Estate Society among other university organizations. Fishman led his startup team to victory and won 1st place in the Startup Factory Competition at Georgetown University in 2019, 1st place in the Graduate Wildcard Entrepreneurship Challenge, & was a University-wide Finalist for Life Settlement fund formation. Fishman specializes in alternative non-market correlated life settlement investments and has held the life insurance license designations L.A., L.B., & Life Settlement Broker (LSB) in the USA. Previously, Fishman attended Columbia University’s Leadership in Law program in NYC and graduated with bachelor’s degrees from both NIRC & the University of the State of NY. Fishman received his conferral for legal rulings in Jerusalem and serves as co-founder of the Kindness Initiative, where Fishman received an award of recognition from the Mayor for his leadership. Fishman is a member of the National Ethics Association.

Mr. Gallagher has a three-decades long career in private practice in New York City as a partner at three national law firms, including Baker Hostetler LLP, the Fund’s outside U.S. counsel. His practice has focused primarily on the representation of hedge and private equity funds, investment banks and consumer and commercial lenders in corporate, securities, tax and regulatory compliance matters. He has particular expertise in advising private and publicly-listed investment funds, both U.S. based and off-shore (Ireland and Luxembourg), in the life insurance and related asset classes. His work for insurance-related funds has focused on advising on the proper structuring, formation and operation of the investment vehicle, on U.S. and international tax considerations, on state and federal laws governing origination and third-party purchase of life insurance policies and on the financing of insurance premiums and portfolio acquisitions, portfolio servicing and sale of life insurance assets. Among recent accomplishments include negotiating, structuring and closing the sale by an Irish fund of $500 million in U.S. life insurance assets to a German financial institution. He recently represented a venture capital fund in structuring its off-shore life settlement fund and in bidding for a $1 billion life settlement portfolio. In addition, while at Baker Hostetler, he lead the legal team that successfully pioneered the movement of life insurance funds from the U.S. to Ireland. Mr. Gallagher received his B.A. in political science from Penn State (summa cum laude) and his J.D. degree from George Washington University’s National Law Center. He is a member of the New York, District of Columbia and Maryland Bars.

Fishman has also led the Eternity Life Fund since 2009, where he delivered carefully crafted investment funds for investors around the world. Now, Fishman brings his wealth of experience and proven success to the Prosperity Life Fund’s renowned management team. Mr. Fishman received his BA in Business Economics from Touro College and his Law Degree from Seton Hall Law School in the USA.
